Orléans East-Cumberland deserves reliable and affordable transit to help put an end to the congestion crisis. Transit means more than less traffic on the roads – it means a community that is connected, access to markets and community hubs, and turns Orléans into an attractive destination for residents across the city while boosting tourist accessibility.
I want to bring a breath of fresh air, and connect our beautiful community in a meaningful way.
This will be done by:
- Making transit Functional, Fast, and Frequent by increasing the sizes of our bus fleets and restoring crucial funds that were cut.
- Freeze the bus fare at $2.50 a ride, making transit affordable for everyone.
- Remove all fares for youth 18 and under.
